About Me

Hi, I’m Rachel!

I am a learning and development professional with several years of experience analyzing, designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating organizational training programs for diverse global teams. I started in learning and development as a job-specific trainer for client-facing roles, creating, improving, and delivering hands-on and self-directed programs for new hires to excel in their roles.

I then was offered an opportunity to focus on the development of asynchronous e-learning solutions where I gained a great deal of experience with Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, and LMS administration and found a love for e-learning development. I am passionate about shifting from long-standing lecture-based instruction to practical, engaging, and creative educational resources that set employees up to succeed. My goals are to improve learner retention, create a positive learning culture in the workplace, and make learning opportunities memorable and relatable through the use of storytelling and scenario elements.

The greatest moments for me throughout my career are watching learners transition from the unconscious incompetence stage to unconscious competence and seeing the “ah ha” moments happen as a result of my efforts.
